Orea Z1

The Orea Z1 is one of the most interesting brewers we’ve used in a while.

It’s a “zero bypass” design, which just means all the water is forced through the coffee bed instead of sneaking around the sides. That gives you a much more even extraction, with loads of clarity, sweetness and balance in the cup.

What I really like is how easy it is to get great results. It’s fast, consistent, and doesn’t need loads of fuss to dial in. You can brew smaller cups easily too, making it perfect for everyday use rather than just special occasions.

If you enjoy clean, expressive filter coffee and want something a bit more controlled than a V60, this is a brilliant option.
