Why We Love It - There’s something incredibly elegant about this coffee. It’s refined, layered and beautifully sweet. I love it because it shows restraint. Nothing shouts. Everything is in balance. It’s the kind of coffee that rewards slow brewing and a bit of attention. It’s one I’d happily drink black every day.

Finca Etiopia from El Salvador is a beautifully balanced specialty coffee with soft fruit, sweetness and a clean finish. Carefully processed and roasted in small batches for espresso and filter brewing at home. A refined and approachable single origin.
Finca Etiopia is a standout farm from Los Naranjos Café in the Apaneca region of Ahuachapán, El Salvador. Established in 2018 and located on the slopes behind the Ilamatepec Volcano, the farm benefits from rich volcanic soil, high elevation, and a cool, stable climate ideal for growing exceptional coffee.
Only 13 of the farm’s 34.5 hectares are cultivated, with the remainder preserved as natural forest to protect biodiversity and local ecosystems. All coffee is shade-grown under native trees, supporting slower cherry maturation and greater cup complexity.
This Gesha lot is processed using Los Naranjos’ innovative Anaerobic Pool Natural method. Ripe cherries undergo a carefully controlled, multi-stage anaerobic fermentation before slow drying in solar greenhouses. The extended process enhances clarity and structure while preserving delicate aromatics.
In the cup, expect floral aromatics, gentle spice, tea-like elegance and notes of exotic fruit, all delivered with remarkable cleanliness and balance. A beautifully expressive coffee that reflects both technical precision and a deep commitment to sustainability.
Finca Etiopia’s dedication to quality was recognised with a 22nd-place finish in the 2025 Cup of Excellence.
